Saint-Gobain to purchase BP Canada

Saint-Gobain plans to acquire Building Products of Canada Corp. (BP Canada), a privately owned manufacturer of exterior building products in Canada. With this acquisition, Saint-Gobain will be well positioned to better serve Canadian customers, to whom it will bring a broader innovative and sustainable range of solutions. The BP Canada purchase complements Saint-Gobain’s acquisitions of Exterior Solutions and Kaycan in 2022, expanding its roofing and siding portfolio. BP Canada has three manufacturing plants servicing the full country (Montreal and Pont-Rouge, QC, and Edmonton, AB). It offers a comprehensive range of exterior building products including wood fibre insulation panels and acoustic panels. It sells through more than 1,200 points-of-sale across home centre retailers and specialty distribution channels.
