Saint-Gobain unveils EnviroMix®C-Clay for lower CO2 emissions
Saint-Gobain Construction Chemicals, with its brands Chryso and GCP, has unveiled EnviroMix®C-Clay, a new admixture range designed to reduce CO2 in concrete by using calcined clay cements. Calcined clay cements, notably lower in carbon emissions than traditional Portland cement, are key to sustainable construction. The new CEM VI and CEM II/C-M cements can reduce CO2 emissions by up to 50%.
“Our mission is to empower the construction industry with innovative solutions that not only meet the demands of today but also pave the way for a sustainable future,” said Gustavo Blázquez, Concrete BU Director.
Saint-Gobain aims to enhance the performance and versatility of calcined clay cements, providing comprehensive technical support for seamless integration.
