Saskatchewan commits $30 million to arts and culture sectors
The Government of Saskatchewan announced over $30 million in funding for arts, culture, and heritage organizations. This investment aims to support community activities and enrich the province’s cultural fabric.
Parks, Culture and Sport Minister Laura Ross highlighted the role of government support in local events. Allocations include $6.8 million for SK Arts, $17.3 million for Creative Saskatchewan, and $4.3 million for the Western Development Museum. The funding also supports the Wanuskewin Heritage Park, Saskatchewan Science Centre, and Saskatchewan Heritage Foundation.
These contributions underscore the government’s commitment to enhancing the quality of life in Saskatchewan.
