Shannon Blakely appointed Whirlpool VP for north america brand marketing
Shannon Blakely has rejoined Whirlpool Corporation as its vice-president for North America brand marketing. In this capacity, Blakely assumes responsibility for overseeing all facets of marketing, ranging from strategy formulation to execution, across the company's North American brands. Blakely's purview includes the supervision of WoW Studios, Whirlpool Corporation's in-house creative and advertising agency, along with the company's consumer insights team.
Blakely's role entails shaping the consumer experience, facilitating the creation of immersive content throughout the consumer journey, integrating digital platforms, and advancing data-driven marketing initiatives. This marks Blakely's second tenure at Whirlpool Corporation, following her progression through various roles within the brand organization before her departure in 2019.
Before her return to Whirlpool, Blakely held roles including vice president of brand marketing and digital tech at Robert Bosch Tool Corporation, as well as vice president of marketing and R&D at Dunkin' Brands' Baskin-Robbins.
