Shawn Ettinger promoted to senior role at TIMBER MART

TIMBER MART has announced the promotion of Shawn Ettinger to senior national procurement manager. Ettinger, previously the national hardware procurement manager, will oversee the group’s hardlines buying programs and vendor relationships, including its partnership with Canadian buying group Spancan. He will also join Spancan’s board of directors.

“Throughout the five years Shawn has been on our team, he has built many mutually beneficial vendor relationships and introduced a variety of unique and advantageous buying opportunities to our members,” said Randy Martin, TIMBER MART’s vice president of procurement.

Ettinger brings over 30 years of industry experience, spanning roles with big box stores, buying groups, and vendors.

Ettinger will remain based in Vaughan, Ont., reporting to Martin.
