Simpson Manufacturing Q4 sales rise

Simpson Manufacturing Co., Inc. had consolidated net sales of $501.7 million for the fourth quarter of 2023, an increase of 5.5 percent compared to consolidated net sales of $475.6 million in the fourth quarter of 2022. North America net sales increased 5.3 percent year over year and Europe net sales increased 5.8 percent. Overall gross profit increased 9.9 percent year over year to $220.5 million and consolidated gross margin increased to 43.9 percent to 42.2 percent. The company had net income of $54.8 million for the fourth quarter compared to $57.6 million in the year-ago period.
