Simpson Strong-Tie acquires PIERESEARCH

Simpson Strong-Tie has acquired certain assets of Arlington, TX-based PIERESEARCH, LLP. Established in 1986, and acquired by the late Stan Agee and his wife Jan in 2005, PIERESEARCH offers a range of tested products for the deep foundation and earth retention industries, including rebar reinforcing alignment products; centralizer products for drilled shafts; soil nails; and rebar-reinforced earth retention anchors. The acquisition enables Simpson Strong-Tie to expand its offering of concrete products in the commercial market. As part of the acquisition, Greg Belt from PIERESEARCH will remain with Simpson Strong-Tie to ensure a seamless transition as Simpson Strong-Tie assumes customer sales, service, and distribution.
