Simpson Strong-Tie promotes Kao

Annie Kao has been promoted to vice president of strategic partnerships and engagement at Simpson Strong-Tie. In this role, she will spearhead the company’s national industry outreach and engagement initiatives; identify and pursue strategic partnerships inside and outside the industry; and engage with trade groups, educational institutions, and industry entry programs to help bring new talent to the construction industry.

Previously, she was vice president of engineering.
