Stella-Jones Sales Climb

Stella-Jones Incorporated had sales of $665 million in the fourth quarter of 2022, an increase of 22 per cent compared to sales of $545 million in the year-ago period. Net income was $36 million, a rise of 63.6 per cent versus the fourth quarter of 2021. Gross profit was $112 million with a margin of 16.8 per cent for the quarter, compared to $65 million and a margin of 11.9 per cent. Residential lumber sales decreased 6.5 per cent year over year while pressure-treated wood sales increased 12 per cent.
