Timberkids raises record-breaking funds to help improve the lives of children
Timberkids, TIMBER MART’s charitable foundation, has revealed it was able to raise $38,000 during its annual Quebec golf tournament.
The foundation hosted an auction after the golf tournament at the Thetford Golf Club. Up for grabs included NHL hockey tickets, a Hockey Canada–signed jersey, a Sidney Crosby–signed hockey jersey, and two one-week trips to Miscou, New Brunswick. More than 110 guests were in attendance, including 38 TIMBER MART dealer attendees and 25 vendor companies.
“We’re very pleased with the turnout at this year’s tournament and humbled by the generosity of our dealer and vendor communities,” said Jon Irwin, vice president of member services at TIMBER MART. “Timberkids exists to support the health and well-being of Canadian children and the funds that were raised at this year’s tournament will go towards improving many childrens’ lives in the communities where our dealers do business.”
