Trex extends warranty on waterproofing products

Trex Company has extended the warranty timeframe from 20 to 25 years across its waterproofing product portfolio. Trex Protect joist, beam, and rim tape; Trex Seal ledger flashing tape; and the Trex RainEscape deck drainage system are now warrantied against defects in materials or workmanship under normal and proper use for a period of 25 years from the date of purchase. The Trex waterproofing products are manufactured and marketed by IBP, LLC through a licensing agreement.
