Trex Grows In Second Quarter

Trex Company had net sales of $386 million in the second quarter of 2022, a 24 per cent increase on a year-over-year basis. Residential contributed $374 million of the sales, a 25 per cent increase, with commercial contributing $12 million. Net income for the second quarter was $89 million, a 45 per cent increase year-over-year.
