Two Alberta stores convert to Home Hardware banner

Two building centres in Alberta have joined Home Hardware Stores Limited. Medicine Hat Home Hardware Building Centre and Alta-Wide Home Building Centre, both located in Alberta, have converted to the Home banner.

Business partners for 20 years, Lisa and Mark Brumm co-own three stores together – including Sylvan Lake Hardware Building Centre, which became a Home store in 2023. In 2024, they converted their other two building supply locations to the Home banner. Mark continues to focus on sales and operations, while Lisa leads administration, HR, and safety.

“We joined Home Hardware because we see it as the future for building supply stores,” says Lisa. “Home offers online sales and a national advertising program, making it a household name. We’re so thankful to our staff, many of whom have been with us for years. They have made this exciting transition possible.”
