U.S. Segment Drives Richelieu Sales
Richelieu had consolidated sales of $487.9 million for the second quarter of 2022, an increase of 31.4 per cent over sales of $371.4 million in the second quarter of 2021. The company says this increase reflects the positive impact of its acquisitions and investments in recent years in new market segments. Sales in the manufacturers market increased 34.5 per cent year-over-year and sales to hardware retailers and renovation superstores increased 15.3 per cent. In Canada, sales were $292.3 million, an increase of 17.8 per cent over the second quarter of 2021. Sales to manufacturers increased 17.3 per cent and sales to hardware retailers and renovation superstores increased 20.4 per cent.
