WCC re-elects Tom Bowtell for second term as president
Tom Bowtell, chief executive of the British Coatings Federation, was re-elected as president of the World Coatings Council for a second two-year term of office. Monica Alcala-Saavedra of the Mexican Paint and Printing Ink Manufacturers’ Association was also re-elected as vice president of the Council.
The Council, which provides a forum for exchange and cooperation on major issues and priorities facing the industry, has established itself as a global voice with the United Nations, governments, and NGOs for over 30 years.
This year was also the last for Andy Doyle, former president and founder of the World Coatings Council in 1992, who is retiring from the American Coatings Association later this year.
