West Fraser Curtails Florida Sawmill

West Fraser Timber Co. Ltd. will indefinitely curtail its Perry Sawmill in Florida later this month due to high fiber costs and softening lumber markets. The curtailment will reduce the company’s U.S. lumber production by 100 million board feet. The indefinite curtailment of Perry Sawmill better aligns its production capacity with demand.
