Whirlpool Sales Slow

The Whirlpool Corporation had net sales of $4.9 billion in the fourth quarter, a decrease of 15.3 per cent compared to net sales of $5.8 billion in the fourth quarter of 2021. In North America, net sales were $2.8 billion in the quarter, down 13.6 per cent over $3.3 billion in the year-ago period. A decrease in revenue was due to supply chain disruption in North America, elevated cost inflation, and demand slowdown.
