WMCO annual meeting to tackle HR, cybersecurity, and recruitment

The Wood Manufacturing Cluster of Ontario (WMCO) will host its quarterly networking event and annual general meeting (AGM) at Conestoga College on June 27, from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM. This event offers insights on HR, cybersecurity, and recruitment for the wood industry.

Highlights include the Canadian Federation of Independent Business’s HR Now! program, providing businesses with essential HR advice and resources. MIT Consulting will discuss current cybersecurity threats and AI’s role in data protection. Jason Noble of Noble Search Group will share effective staffing and recruitment strategies.

The AGM will review past achievements and future plans. The event features a tour of the Conestoga Woodworking Centre and ample networking opportunities. Non-members are welcome. Registration is available online.
